Tunisian Wings VA – Rules and Regulations

  1. Mission Statement

Tunisian Wings VA is a virtual airline dedicated to simulating the real-world operations of Tunisair, Tunisair Express, and Nouvelair. Our mission is to provide a realistic, professional, and community-driven flying experience inspired by Tunisian civil aviation.

  1. General Conduct
  • All members must behave respectfully and professionally toward fellow pilots, staff, and controllers on IVAO, VATSIM, and other approved networks.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  • Members must always comply with the IVAO and VATSIM Code of Conduct.
  • Inappropriate or offensive callsigns, usernames, or avatars are not allowed.
  1. Membership Requirements
  • Minimum age to join: 16 years.
  • Registration must be completed using a valid email address and accurate personal details.
  1. Flight Operations
  • Pilots must follow realistic procedures, including the use of SID/STARs, realistic cruising altitudes, and correct aircraft configurations.
  • Flight planning must be done using SimBrief or an equivalent dispatch tool.
  • Pilots must use only aircraft and routes authorized by Tunisian Wings, based on real-world operations of Tunisair, Tunisair Express, and Nouvelair.
  1. Flight Logging (PIREPs)
  • All flights must be logged using the official ACARS system.
  • Simulation rate must remain at 1x — time acceleration or pausing the sim is not allowed.
  • Any false, manipulated, or duplicated PIREPs will result in disciplinary action.
  1. Pilot Activity
  • Pilots must complete at least one flight every 30 days to remain active.
  • Inactivity beyond 30 days without notice may result in account deactivation.
  • Pilots may request a Leave of Absence (LOA) for personal or professional reasons by contacting the staff.
  1. Fleet and Aircraft Use
  • Pilots are required to fly aircraft within the Tunisian Wings virtual fleet:
  • Aircraft must be operated within their real-world limitations and performance specifications.
  • Fleet updates may be made based on real-world Tunisian operations or community feedback.
  1. Ranks and Promotions
  • Pilot ranks are assigned based on total flight hours and experience.
  • Promotions may be granted automatically.
  • Any attempt to cheat (e.g., inflated hours, false reports, time skipping) will result in immediate disciplinary action.
  1. Livery and Callsign Usage
  • Pilots must use Tunisian Wings or real-world Tunisair/Nouvelair liveries whenever available.
  • Approved official callsigns include:
    • TUW – Tunisianwings
    • TAR – Tunisair
    • TUX – Tunisair Express
    • LBT – Nouvelair
  • Do not use the callsigns of other real-world airlines that are not affiliated with Tunisian Wings.
  1. Discord and Communication
  • The Tunisian Wings Discord server is the primary hub for communication.
  • Members must respect all server rules and use appropriate channels
  • Use of voice channels is encouraged, especially during group flights or events.
  1. Events
  • Tunisian Wings may host events on IVAO/VATSIM.
  • Pilots are encouraged to participate and follow briefings and NOTAMs shared before each event.
  • Event-specific procedures or routing must be respected.
  1. Disciplinary Actions

Violations of these rules may result in one or more of the following:

  • ⚠️ Warning
  • ⏸️ Temporary suspension
  • ⬇️ Demotion of rank
  • ❌ Account removal
